Aretes helps you compare your career history with the role you want and suggests ways to close the gap. The core service is free. We may add optional paid features in the future; these will be clearly marked, and you will only pay if you choose them.

You must be 18 or over. You agree to give accurate information and to keep your sign-in details secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.

Only upload a CV and information that are yours, or that you have permission to use. Don't upload anything unlawful, misleading or that infringes anyone's rights. You keep ownership of your CV. You allow us to use it only to provide the service to you, as described in the Privacy Policy.

Aretes, its website, design, software, career benchmarks, data and results are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by law. You may use your results for your own personal, non-commercial purposes.

You must not:

• copy, scrape, harvest or extract data from Aretes, manually or by automated means (bots, scripts, crawlers);
• access the service through any means other than the interface we provide, or try to bypass any limits or security measures;
• reverse-engineer, decompile or otherwise try to work out how the service or its data are built;
• use Aretes, its data or its results to build, train or improve a competing product or service, including AI models;
• resell, republish or share access to the service or its results commercially;
• interfere with the service, overload it, or use it for anything unlawful.

Our results and suggestions are general guidance based on aggregated information. They are not professional career, legal or financial advice. They do not guarantee a job, promotion or any other outcome. Decisions you make based on them are your own.

Courses and other links lead to third-party websites that we do not control. Their own terms, prices and policies apply. We may earn a commission when you sign up through some links. This does not change what you pay.

We work to keep Aretes available and accurate, but we provide it "as is" and cannot promise it will always be available, error-free or complete. We may change, pause or stop parts of the service.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses caused by your use of the results or of third-party websites. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for intent or gross negligence, or your rights as a consumer.

You can close your account at any time by emailing pr@aretes.io from the address on your account. We will delete your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, in particular section 5, and will tell you why unless the law prevents it.

We may update these terms. If a change is important, we will tell you by email or in the app before it applies. If you keep using Aretes after that, the new terms apply.

These terms are governed by Greek law. The courts of Athens have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer living in another country, you keep any protection that the law of your country gives you and may also bring a claim there.
